Tirta Empul
Discover the spiritual essence of Bali at Tirta Empul. It is a sacred Hindu temple complex founded in 962 AD, nestled in the lush greenery of Tampaksiring. The temple is renowned for its holy spring, believed to have healing properties, where locals and visitors alike partake in the purification ritual known as Melukat. This ancient practice involves bathing in the temple’s crystal-clear pools, moving from fountain to fountain, to cleanse both body and soul. The water flows from a natural spring beneath the temple, which has been revered for centuries.
Spice Garden
Discover the enchanting beauty of the Kintamani region, where majestic mountains meet lush plantations. Explore the Spice Garden, where you’ll encounter an array of vibrant spices and fruits and gain insight into the traditional coffee roasting process. Enjoy a tasting session featuring local coffee varieties, including the coveted civet coffee (available for an additional fee), along with cocoa, ginseng coffee, ginger tea, lemongrass tea, and other unique infusions.
